So I'm getting ready to try and attend the LS Festival next week again. Not sure if I'm going to autocross or drag race or maybe even both. I currently have the Nitto NT555 G2's all the way around and don't know if I want to autocross in those or not. I have a pair of new Nitto NT555 R2's for the rear to use in the drag race though. I just hope the oem axles hold up. lol

Well I did get to LS Festival for a while anyways. Me and my son got there around 10am on Friday got our registration and separated because I was going to drag race and he was going to autocross. The one thing that kind of sucked was none of the volunteers new where anything was. I asked like four volunteers where the drag tech meeting was before finding it. So on my son's first run in autocross he broke his diff on the C5. It broke a spot where the bolt holds the diff to the transmission and cracked it across the case. I only got two drag races in but won both races. The NT555 R2's did awesome. I just gradually got into the throttle and it hooked up and went, no spin. No times though because it was just heads up racing. But car felt strong and fast so I'm happy. So after my son broke his diff we went back to the hotel spent the night and Saturday morning called AAA. We get lucky when we got out there because it's exactly 200 miles from our house to Texas Motor Speedway and that's the maximum distance AAA will tow. So we got home and put his original diff back in before Monday. All and all though I did have a good time seeing all the other LS swapped cars and we were there such a short time I didn't really get any pictures, the one above is from one of the photographers at the event.

Sounds like a good time! I'd love to attend LSFest once, but way to far to drive for me, even towing.

What kinda work is done to your son's C5?

Post some pics!

Fully built ls1 with summit forged stuff, long tubes, fast intake with ls2 throttle body, 243 heads, fuel injector clinic injectors, racetronix fuel pump, fully built 4l60 with circle d 3600, and all the goodies but he has a daily TSP cam in it 224/224 600 lift. He wants to change out the cam to a BTR 4, in fact that's all he talks about right now and I imagine we'll be doing it real soon. He had a 3.42 diff but when it broke we put back in the 2.73 diff. Man it handles so good too.
