Race Scoop For CAI
Today I installed a race scoop in my bumper and holy...what a difference it made, its just like installing a ported throttle body. I did half to cut a little peace of my bumper out but it was totally worth it!!! when I let it rip in 1st gear the traction control never kicks in but the 3 times I did pulls with the scoop installed it did keeping my tires from spinning, my car does feel faster from rolls on my butt dyno. it even lowered my intake air temps:
Before scoop IAT: 83°F outside, 214°F oil temp, 194°F coolant temp, IAT 99°F After scoop IAT: 73°F outside, 219°F oil temp, 208°F coolant temp, IAT 86°F I thought it was kind of a gimmick but it really works and it works well!!! below are some photos of what I had to cut, I just used a pocket knife and a razer blade since the plastic wasn't that hard. I did half to also remove the factory washer bottle but considering I used it a whopping 0 times after owning it for 3 months & I never used the washer fluid in my v6 either after owning it for a year. I decided to remove it and not look back. this MOD is 100% WORTH IT and its not even that expansive $60-$80 depending on the company you buy from

I liked mine. I felt like on a roll the initial hit was harder and felt to pull harder.

Yeah I like mine too, the only thing is your filter gets dirty sooner.
