Pilot sport 4s handle latest zl1 mods?
Have now bumped the ‘13 zl1 to near 765 rwhp.. are the PS4S gonna be enough to somewhat hold power down to the road when pulling on HWY?
Previous mods had me at 640rwhp and did not have much of an issue staying hooked with hwy pulls… but with 2nd round including stage 3 cam, headers, perf clutch etc makes me wonder if I need new slicks to stay hooked up. Spring and summer car mostly here in WI.. Appreciate any advice you can offer…thanks in advance! Below is the latest dyno run…I pick up tomorrow.. https://youtu.be/OhevG_pKE_I?si=1FhZ0yczv2yrr8pt |

Almost 800 ft lbs at the wheels? Welcome to DR territory.
You are going to spin on PS4S then realize you aren't getting the power you paid for it to have. Whats the point of 700 or 800 if its not making it to the ground? You will have to go DR to put that down brother. Nice car btw.

That's awesome numbers. I'd imagine the PS4S will be skating quite a bit at that level!

No way the PS4 will hold. I'm making 704tq on a twin turbo set up so I don't have that super hard hit that a roots blower has and when boost comes in, 2nd gear (70mph) it knocks the tires off until I hit the limiter. 3rd gear hooks from a 2-3. But if starting in 3rd boost comes in slower because the rpm is way lower but even then temperature and road depending determines traction.
I'm running the 4S on stock 1LE sizes (285).

Mickey Thompson ET S/S will work well or ET Street R to really get down.

Have been out a couple of times
I will say when on tour mode and basic sport (not track) I have not had That difficult of a time staying hooked up Granted I have not really broke 5k rpm since the mods and my redline is now 7k… The cars safety nanies seem to do ok on tour and sport mode so far at least |

Been running PS4S on my car for over 4 years now. Over 800rwhp, your right foot is traction control. I have no issues with the tires, but I never put the pedal all the way down on regular roads with regular tires anyway.
50% throttle is plenty to make noise and get a quick fix on the highway.

I run SC2s, and my turbo comes in a little late so it is easier to control on the street, but it will still blow the tires off around 5k in 1st and 2nd at WOT.
