New Arizona owner here
Hi Guys,
Just want to introduce myself. I am an older hot rodder that loves fast cars and fast bikes. If I was being more inappropriate I might say fast women as well, but since my GF is in the middle of back surgery she does not move so fast. My last car was a 06 GTO which unfortunately is no longer with me. Loved while I had it, not everyone has a GTO. So I started looking again and narrowed it down to a 2014 or 2015 Camaro SS because I prefer the looks over a Gen 6 and the early Gen 5. I am a bit of a road racing buff so I decided upon specifically finding a 1LE and about the time I made this conclusion I saw an ad for 2014 White 1LE. Price was decent it was traded in on a new Dodge (not a decision I would do) But the plus was the Carfax. 1 owner, Arizona car, no accidents and every oil change done at a dealership from day one to the day it got traded in. Best Carfax I had ever seen. After a little discussion I took it home. Absolutely love this Car so much more refined than the GTO, and the handling is completely on another level. So I look forward to talking to you all and sharing knowledge and experiences. |

You made an EXCELLENT choice! Love the 1LEs. Great color. I see you're out in Peoria, close to AMP. Just so you know.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

No, the Z is my late night therapy machine. I do contemplate bringing it out for an "open track" day, we'll see. I have a car dedicated to track duty, my C5 Z06.

Those are beautiful!
I have a good friend that runs a C5 Z06 full race car. He is waiting on the motor to be put back in now. He put a rod out last year, had a motor built on a brand new LS3 block and had a sleeve shift in the block. So now it has Darton sleeves, stock bore but should be a bullet proof motor. I was planning on a C6 Grand Sport until I drove my 1LE. Last edited by Terry Mc; 04-29-2024 at 07:55 PM. |
