If anyone is still on here. I haven't been on here in over a year. Been in hosptial 5 times from heart trouble 4 times. And 4 new stents put in. Hoping to be able to get my vehicles out for car shows. Turn 79 on June next month.

Not much new here. Still piddling around in my craft room. Making jewelry lately. And trying to keep my plants from dying in this oppressive heat without getting heat exhaustion myself watering them. Stay safe, healthy & enjoy life crew.

Took my Corvette to Daytona for a Track Day. Got 3 - 20 minute sessions. Nothing like driving the High Banks of Daytona at WOT!!!

Trick - - Your dad’s C5 looks great. I bet that is a real “trip” on those high banks!! How fast do they let you go ?? How close are you to other cars ??

Thanks for the complement John!

We're allowed to go as fast as we want. I run the Intermediate Class and there were about 25 cars on the track. We are allowed to pass as long as we are pointed by the car ahead of us. I use Track Addict and my Top Speed was 141.0 MPH. We're running the same course as the 24 Hours of Daytona. So at 141 MPH I have to slow to around 70 MPH for Turn 1 after the Start / Finish Line and the Bus Stop on the Back Stretch.

It's definitely the most FUN you can have with your clothes on - LOL!!!
