Does anyone make or modify NPP for older applications?
I am currently in the market for a Silverado, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Chevy has made NPP available for its 6.2 Silverado. This makes me wish that I could get this exhaust for my TrailBlazer stable mate. What an innovation GM made with this exhaust. It almost negates a need to put on an aftermarket.
I am hoping that one day an aftermarket NPP becomes a reality!

NPP uses a vacuum actuated valve to open a more free flowing side of the muffler like a cutout does. I think most guys, when modifying an exhaust just use cutouts. GM did not invent the cutout valve, so if there is demand, you will see it in the aftermarket. Looks like Stainless works has a set up for 2k+. It can be built with cutout valves and a MAP driven controller or even a TPS driven controller. I just sold NPP mufflers to a guy putting them on a 69 Camaro, so the salvage yard might be your best bet, especially if they are going on Silverados now.

You can pick up a set of NPP mufflers for around $300 used. Then you can swap and weld them on any application you like.
