What’s the best lines on market for an SS with front brembos but rear is getting the Carlyle set. Do I need to get a custom set due to that.

Goodridge makes all kinds of brake lines, several specific to Gen5s. I'm sure there is probably some company out there that sells more expensive, maybe even marginally better, but if track guys run them, they should be more than sufficient for a 15" setup. I have them on two cars and never had any problems. I have only removed the calipers on one of the cars since putting on the new lines, so I can't speak to the fitting durability over time since I don't take the caliper off a lot.

I have some used goodridge lines on my car. Bought them used from a member that tracked his 5th gen 1LE. He sold his car, they sat in a box in my house for probably 2 years and now they're on my car working great. So they're standing the test of time great.
