Anyone running a 390/40-17 M&H tires?
I have found multiple photos of 5th gens running these and asked in the tire forum but I’m hoping I can find someone near Eastern PA that has them on before I order mine to test fit. Thanks.

I'd love to see a photo of a 390 width rear tire on a 5th gen - share 'em up!

I run M&H slicks and when called before buying, the guy was very chatty so maybe a call to M&H...

Based on the screen shot you posted, are you going to call Ted J and see what he has to say about it....

Glad to hear that, especially with reference to the fronts.... Too many people run skinnies and if/when these boats get sideways, you'll certainly want some meat up front....

Thanks for the share Blue13 - pretty tough looking on those fat tires. Has to be tight on the inboard side to not be poking more than that.

MT drag radials have a much better reputation at the track than M&H. I can't say I have seen anyone running M&H DRs, you see M&H slicks but not DRs. How do you feel about having a radial up front with bias plys in the back? I've heard from several people that doing that can put you in the guard rail at the top end of the track if things get squirrelly.

The point is that the two tire types generate extremely different cornering response, and when you give the front axle more response and lateral grip that's a recipe to make yourself a passenger in a hurry. If you're willing to go far enough to run a bias ply rear, do yourself a favor and match it up front. Track clip of mis-matched tires plus coolant down on the track getting the best of me:
