oil pressure sending unit

Quite strange with the Oil pressure sending unit very easy to replace, but my gauge was showing ether 0 oil pressure or 70+ oil pressure after engine was warmed up (199-203) Engine no damage, but i never got a check engine Light
or Check Gauges
anybody else get this strange oil pressure reading?

Scan for codes you will probably find oil pressure sensor circuit codes like a P0522 or P0523, You can disconnect the oil pressure sensor and test the circuits

With the ignition in RUN, test the Gray wire for 5 volts.

Test the Black wire for ground.

Test the Tan/White wire for less than 4.8 volts.

If the circuits test good replace the oil pressure sensor
