Backup camera works (beeps) but screen is black with error message
Hello, I’m new to this amazing forum. Recently while going into reverse, my camera engaged then it abruptly went black with an error message in the rear view mirror. The error message was an old style projector with a line through it.
The sensors warning beeps are working so I think it might be a blown fuse. Can anyone help in identifying which fuse I need to check? I looked at all three fuse box listings and nothing identifies the camera. I have a 2012 Camaro 2SSRS. Thank you in advance for any help with this annoying issue. t |

Update for people who encounter a similar problem with a stock backup camera.
I bought a new oem camera. Installed it with the help of a friend (We had to remove the bumper). Total project was less than 15 minutes. Camera is now working properly. Confusing problem but ended up being an easy fix. New camera was less than $150.00. Hope this helps someone. |
