Took me forever as usual but I got the clutch reservoir done. As you can see I took a lot of precautions while doing this project. I used the same shipping wrap I used for protecting the headers and wrapped the fender and strut tower a few times over.

When I purchased this "kit" off marketplace and it came pretty bones, just the reservoir, the bracket and the nipple cap. I had to source a 5/16 EPDM hose section and I wrapped it in the same sheathing/wire loom I've used around the engine bay and picked up some more of my favorite fuel injection clamps. I think it turned out really clean and flows with everything else I've got going on.

I've watched a few videos on installing this and they mentioned about the hose touching the strut tower. I see on here some have remedied this by twisting the bracket away from the tower, I don't really care for the looks of that so I did what others have suggested and used a section of PPF to protect that area. I just happened to have a piece of clear bra from the rocker cover fiasco, I accidentally ordered the wrong side and this was just sitting around. I cut a section out of it, mounted it to the tower and it blends right in. Call it OEM+ lol.

I'm going to do the brake bleed tomorrow. Not much to show there. I also picked up quite a few interesting parts over the past month or so. I'll slowly trickle them into the thread, I want to try and show more start to finish posts instead of my rampant parts hoarding that very slowly make their way onto the car.

Thank you! Yeah I think they're better looking than standard worm drive clamps. https://www.harborfreight.com/mini-f...xoCZQoQAvD_BwE

So, ever since I got the car back from the body shop there has always been one thing that bothered me: the fender bolts were chipped when R&I'ing the fender for repair. It's a dead giveaway that there's been work there.

I've been eyeing this kit from Dressupbolts.com for a while. Hesitant to pull the trigger as 159.99 for bolts and washers is steep. They look good though, they blend into the bay seamlessly, which is exactly what I wanted. This is about it for the engine bay as of now.

They look great, Definitely on the pricey side.

Yeah if it wasn't for the chip on the bolt head, I definitely could've spent $160 towards something more substantial. But I agree, they look sharp and fixed my problem.

While the car was on the lift and with wheels off, I took full advantage of the situation and got some detailing in. First, I degreased and washed the inner wheel houses, then coated all plastics and rubber with Carpro pearl. I tried to clean up the calipers the best I could, they're not in the best shape. I think a set of ZL1 6 pistons or a Brembo GT kit would really fill in those massive 20x10's nicely and bring the car into the 2020's. Those ashy 4 pistons date it a little.

Next each wheel was stripped by washing with Dawn dish soap, then wiped down with Carpro Eraser. I then hand waxed them one by one. Lugnuts were washed one by one then polished with Blue Magic. I also knocked out the yearly oil change, magnet and old oil were very clean, catch can barely had a drop of oil come out, the LS3 seems very happy.

She may not be the fastest 5th Gen but I make damn sure she's one of the cleanest examples you'll ever see.

Looks great, I detail under mine as well. I happen to like the color of the factory calipers and I ceramic coated mine before switching to 6 pistons and it really made them look nice.

Thank you sir! I just bought some NOS SLP parts off a guy who has a Brembo GT kit for sale, I'd have bought it already if it the calipers weren't red. I really want gloss black calipers, so I'll probably end up going custom CTSV/ZL1 setup. We'll see.

All week I worked on cleaning up the rest of the engine bay. It wasn't really dirty, just a little dusty and dry. Spent alot of time on the plastics and rubber seals, I want it to look fresh. Strut bar is back on so the bay is done for 2025.

Over the weekend I started messing with the exhaust system. Got one of the mufflers up to spec with the bronze wool and my buffer. Honestly for how much this costs, this is how it should look out of the box.

Stereo woes. For some odd reason the Bluetooth on the MyLink infotainment decided it didn't want to connect anymore. It was a grayed out box and all attempts to pair rejected. Did some research and ended up doing a radio factory reset to forget my phone then re-pair. Annoying but I'm glad I got it to work, I don't want to send it to the dealer to get fixed and I have no intention of putting an aftermarket head unit in the car just to regain Bluetooth ability. Tbh when I take the Camaro out, its all about the exhaust, the pops, shifting gears, the raw experience. The stereo is of little concern to me, I do like that if my phone rings it'll go through the car because I'm not going to hear it on its own.

That wasn't my only car audio project this week. My daily driver is a '07 Accord VP. As in "value package" only front 5.25 door speakers, that's it. I've had this car for about 4 years now and I've had it with this crap, this thing needed a proper system but I wanted to keep this under a $300 budget.

I've had this Alpine CDA-117 in there since day one because the Accords stock head unit has no USB. I replaced the door speakers with JVC 6.5's and installed JVC 6x9's in the rear deck. For low end I got a 15" Lanzar Max ST sub with an SPL prefab ported box, power comes from a Lanzar Heritage monoblock. All wiring is Rockford Fosgate and Monster Cable that I had laying around. It's ok, that amp is nowhere near the rated 3000 watts, more like 250-300 and it doesn't like rap. Rock/metal it's ok, anything with a steady hard bass blast, it gets hot...fast.

Coming back to the Camaro: it's Boston/Kicker combo performs amazingly vs the Accord's Alpine/JVC/Lanzar setup. While that big 15 can go low, that little Kicker 10 get just as loud. The JVC's are way clearer than the Boston's though. The Alpine helps clean some of the signal up too.

Tegg- Ster: love your build. I like them Bolts, sometimes price is not the point. And then you can bragg about them. BTW - what is at the end of the (SLP?) Intake Tube - a filter and remote intake Duct?

And - SS-G, at some point you run out of Mod ideas and don't want to "junk" up the car with non value added stuff. But you are never really done. I like to document mine - does anyone else do this?
