Fuel pressure regulator
I want to update my fuel rails. 1 to clean up the engine bay and 2 later on wanting to make more power so just one thing out of the way. My question is what are you guys doing about the fuel pressure regulator. Where are you putting it? What kind are you running? Really any information would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the Schrader valve on the factory fuel rail (located at the front of the rail on the driver’s side)? If so, I think most simply forgo including it when upgrading to aftermarket fuel rails. However, when I did mine I ended up getting a fitting that accepts a 1/8th NPT thread and worked it into the rear passenger side. The fitting I used is Summit part number EAR-AT100199ERL if you want to check it out. I figured at the very least, I could de-pressurize the fuel system at the Schrader value or plug in a different fuel gauge for diagnostics. Although, I also mounted a fuel pressure gauge on the driver’s side so I can see it right away whenever I pop the hood open.
Here's a picture of my current setup in case it helps. |

On my 1LE, I did almost the same thing as Bee. Used the Holley fuel rails and added a gauge. I did not add another schrader though. On my Z/28, I did the Fore rails and did not add a gauge or a schrader

No that helps a ton. What fuel rails did you go with? That looks really good. I was wanting to mount a gauge the same way.

Cool... and thank you! I went with Holley EFI Fuel Rails. I bought the 534-210 kit but in hindsight could have saved money by just getting the basic fuel rail kit since I ended up piecing together different fittings so I could insert the gauge and Schrader value and routed the fuel lines across the back of the intake instead of at the front. Plus, I switched the lines from the braided steel hoses to UltraPro fuel hoses instead.

I did almost the same thing. I bought just the rails though, because like Bee, I knew I wanted to route the hose in the back, not the front. So I ended up piecing the fittings and things together. Plus the added gauge.
