Beautiful Day in MI. Taking the T/A Conversion tomorrow ~50 miles to the first big Fun Time Cruizer meet at Napa off Van Dyke north of 21 Mile. This will be her first showing, and a long wait at that.

Also went through the '77 Bandit and got her ready to show. They will be side by side at some car shows.

Honestly - who wouldn't want a pair of these in their garage? Had to pause taking pics to put on some sunglasses as the Bling was blinding me.

Fun Time Cruziers first Monday show in Shelby MI, 374 cars in attendence, some heavy hitters there as everyone wanted to get their cars out to start the season.

Took Best of Show, and did not expect that given all of the killer cars there. Judge said attention to detail was the key consideration.

Finally a stellar weather day at the Monday Night Car Cruise on Nepessing Street in Lapeer MI.

It was packed and swarms of people checking out the car. Many wanted to know who the Pro and Shop was that built the car for me, and what it cost. It's fun telling them I'm just a wrench and did it in my Barn over a year's time span.

Many honestly don't know what the car is, and think it is some new Pontiac Trans Am Concept Car, cause they have never seen one and you just don't see them hardly anywhere. No clue the base Car is a Camaro.

The best comments, which I have received more than once -
"It looks like Foose built this".

Took the Pair of Bandits to the local Attica Festival Days Car and Bike Show. Just a small gathering of cars in this tiny town in mid Michigan, between Lapeer and Imlay City. There are more Deer than people here. My Wife drove the TA Conversion, as it is a Automatic, and that was the whole idea of building that car around a auto, so I can take (2) cars to a show.

So I had not even started the real 1977 Bandit for (2) years which is sad but it was time to get her back on the road again. Even though I had drained the Gas out of the Tank, it would not run well with a few gallons of fresh gas. So that's what you get for not getting old gas out of the Lines and Carb, cause when I drained the fresh Gas out of it and drained out the Fuel Lines, I saw the culprit - some Water and nasty old brownish gas. And the seal in the Magnafuel Pump was leaking, as they usually do after a few years. So had fun with a rebuild on the Fuel Pump, and pulled off the 750 Demon Carb and bench cleaned that with new gaskets.
Old school wrenching is just damn fun and it brought back decades old memories of the beautiful ported Single Plane Manifold and Ram Air III Heads as I peered down into the opening. Had to take a moment.
Now it runs great, and showed well with the Conversion.

GM Tech Center Employee Car Show in Warren MI.
Packed with cars, and countless Vette's and Camaros.
It felt like I was going back to work again - like getting up real early, and fighting traffic and all the Idiots in a hurry zigging in and out of traffic on Highway M53 on the way there.
