Thank you and a big fan of yours as well! I tend to ignore the prices of things for this car, it's not the best mentality when building a car but this one is THE ONE for me.

As far as the intake, the filter sits right at the end of the tube in front of the fender liner. Unfortunately there's no room for a Janetty style scoop or I definitely would have gotten one. The filer is massive and takes up all the room.

Finally got a break in the life schedule and got to use the buffer I got for my birthday. Have to figure out a more solid mounting solution but I wanted to see it do its thing and I'm very pleased with the results.

I finished the other muffler which was 90% by hand, but I got two of the connector pipes out and went to town. This is exactly what I'm looking for and should look amazing from behind the car. I'll finish polishing the rest of the pipes over the next few days.

The next post should be from the Camaro's new home! The single car townhouse days are over! I'm sure my neighbors won't be sad to see the stinky, loud muscle car drive away for the last time.

She's home. One of the last things to come from the old townhouse was the car. This is more than likely where she'll spend the rest of her life. It's a decent sized 2 car with plenty of room to work and for a stablemate (which I have already procured, wait till you see this gem).

I hung some of my stuff up purely to get rid of these damn boxes all over the place. I actually really like that maroon color and will be painting the entire garage that color (sans block wall, that will remain white). There's a little drywall work that needs done first though.

Haven't decided on a floor. I really like the look of epoxy with the little sprinkles but to do it right is time consuming and expensive. I also like those swiss Trax style floors but they don't look like they'd be Quick Jack friendly. Decisions to be made there. Also took first steps in security, I have cameras on every angle of the garage and within.

Stumbled across these on marketplace, BNIB BMR toe & control arms along with the bushings for the knuckles, all for $300 and 20 minutes away from home.

I want to blow these apart and send them to the powder coater for the same gloss black treatment as the driveshaft safety loop. I want the underside to look stock to the untrained eye. Just the yellow from the Bilsteins and reflections off the Corsa.

I want to get their street subframe bushings, subframe connectors and upper control arm bushings as well. This should be a solid street setup when it's all said and done.

Small update, finally took a break from house work to enjoy the car for a weekend. Spent most of Saturday getting her detailed, then Sunday morning was a Cars & Coffee at the Hershey Auto Museum, a charity event for service dogs.

As usual she showed well and got plenty of love. Below are a few pics I took at the my new house then a few at the show. Unfortunately this may be it for the car this year, I have so many other pressing issues/projects that she's going to have to take a backseat for now.

Have no fear, as my signature states, this car is going nowhere and I am aggressively still looking for a diff case to build. Once I have that and the Truetrac, the rear subframe is getting dropped and overhauled.

Wow brother! She's awesomely beautiful!! Well done! I have been wanting to buff out my Corsa mufflers like you did, just so they look shiney under the car, and match the tips I keep polished.

Thank you brother, I appreciate it! Yes, the Corsa polishes up nicely. Like I said I really got the itch from the 03-04 Cobra guys, they polish up their IRS pipes like mirrors and I think it looks awesome from the back.

Can't wait to get that exhaust on too. Im over the NPP, even with the controller, I got used to it and I want more loud.

It's funny that you said that, because I always loved how the back of the 03 Cobra's looked with the mufflers and pipes. It does look pretty cool!!

A few posts back I mentioned a new project I acquired. With being a homeowner again I had forgotten that the Accord wasn't going to cut it. I needed a truck, my Dad stepped in to help out by offering me his 1 owner 2000 Silverado Z71.

This had been sitting for years and is in need of attention. Beyond the patina she runs ROUGH, flashing P0300 and spitting raw fuel out of the exhaust. I welcome everyone to follow along this winter as I pull the heads and clean up the top end.
