Tail lights EU

I'm going to be converting my taillights to the EU version.
I have a few questions.

Is there a way to separate the brake light signal from the turn signal?
On a Corvette, you can disconnect one wire from the brake pedal sensor.
How can I do this on a Camaro?

I don’t know exactly each and every country’s regulation in Europe, but certain places like the UK, require certain rear fog lamps/lights, as well as clear amber indicators/turn signals in the rear.

If you ever look at a properly “modified” 5th gen Chevy Camaro in the UK, it will most likely have Euro spec lights, or at the least, separate amber and red tail lamps (10-13 year models).

Yep, in the early 2010's we had to install rear fog lamp in Finland.

Well, I guess that makes backing up in a dense fog easier.

they have a seperate switch, that when turned on, makes it bright red so you can see it in the fog. In Germany we had that as well, the light switch had a special detent for "fog lamp" and the lamp was usually under the left rear bumper.

In Poland and all of Europe, the rear direction indicators must be orange and there must also be fog light at the back.
I already have an idea for this lighting processing .

The fog light in Europe should be lit permanently (together with the other lamps) when the fog is so thick that visibility drops below 50 meters .

That is not true,i and many others have had red rear direction indicators from the beginning.Separately approved in import inspection.
We had to install before September 2017. (Local regulations) white front parking lights and orange side indicators.
My car also had the HID changed to halogen, because HID would have required height adjustment and a washer.
After September 2017, all OEM lights are approved in FI.

Lucky me that red turns are allowed in Switzerland.
HID required sprue nozzles to keep the glass clean.
@Adamo: check out www.camaro2010.de
there are a lot who converted the rears as you wish. Some with really neat ideas!

I didn't know you had that in Finland. In Poland, a car with red turn signals won't pass its annual inspection. It's similar in Europe, but apparently not everywhere.

Thanks for the idea. I'll check how they handle it.
I have an idea; I've modified the lights on a Corvette before.
It's a bit harder to find a clear turn signal (without brake lights) on a Camaro, but I have an idea.

Here is a nice solution with afterburners and an amber led-stripe for the turns
