Quick Warning Light Question

2013 Camaro. On the dash today I noticed a warning light that looks like a tiny clock or a tach. I think I've narrowed it down to a cruise control warning. Don't give a rat's butt about cruise control. Here's the thing, it's white. I can't find anything about a white warning light unless maybe I turned it on by mistake or something. Anyone ever run into this? Before I put a black sticker over it?

On a side note I fixed my high 3rd brake light yesterday. Real pain for a 70 year old guy but I'm so happy I did it

is it the light that tells you cruise control is turned on and ready to be set?

Maybe. I've never used it lol. Just got done running some new wiring and don't feel like going back out there. I really have no idea how it works, I drive the car, the car doesn't drive me lol Okay I'm going to go look at it again. Hit some cruise buttons, at least that should tell me if it's the same light.

Okay false alarm. There's a little cruise toggle switch left of the horn. I flipped that and the light went out. Must be something about setting the cruise. When I first saw it I had no idea. So I came in and looked at my 700 page Camaro book that came with the car and it says NOTHING about what the warning lights are. Idiots. Double idiots after changing that 3rd brake light. I ran a fuse bypass today to the trunk and put a switch under the dash to fix my radio. I was a little concerned I had screwed something up. Like I said I'm 70 so go easy on me lol. Thanks for the suggestion, got me off my butt.

White means it's active and green means it's set.

Thanks! I'll try to remember that even if I never use it. Maybe I'll break my foot and need to drive myself to the hospital

I love ur car. Your car looks just like mine. I have the black rims with the brushed aluminum looking beauty rings. I didn't think the silver really went with the black/red colors of my car so I took the beauty rings off. Painted the rims a neutral black (Not gloss not flat) and I like it a lot better. I don't have a sunroof either :(

I use cruise all the time on long drives, but that's just me I guess. I take 100-200+ mile trips and it helps. Thanks, I do like the chrome ZL1 wheels on the car. They will have to be redone and I was thinking of power coating them next time but haven't decided on chrome, polished or brushed with clear.

Same for me!! This way you can't get busted for speeding!! Plus it saves a bit of fuel as the computer can control the throttle better than you can.. lol.

I do, too. I'd swear, though, that my cruise control switch is magically connected to the very next traffic signal.
