hey everyone,
I recently purchased the PAC kit for my 2012 Camaro SS (TF edition) however, I would like to retain the factory backup camera and use it on the new radio. I saw the gen5diy cable but does that really work? I just want to know before spending $120 bucks on a damn cable. and if it does, where is it installed? I am shocked with the vague amount of info/pictures on the internet for this topic. so please if anyone has info or pictures do let me know. thank you |

Should plug right in to the radio setup. It did when I went aftermarket with mine.

It did. The pac should have a hook up or the port should be on the back of the stereo.
Did you get your pac from crutchfield.com? They're very helpful, you could call them and they'll walk you through it, or recommend an adapter if needed. |
