Only 4-door performance car I like is the LSA powered Cadillac CTS-Vs. All the others would look better as 2-doors but I do realize a lot of folks need to compromise with family or business needs. Hopefully the Camaro nameplate will never appear on a "two doors too many" car.

If one of the strict parameters is there must also be a V8 option, good luck with anything remotely resembling a Camaro ever being built again.

I clicked on a new Trail Boss for sale ad and what a joke that is. They wanted $42k for a turbo 4-banger that only gets 18mpg.

It looks great. Credit to the Chevy design department. But no.

Dang! Granted my TrailBoss is 5.5 years old(2020)...but mine is pretty loaded minus a sunroof and stickered for 57k with the 6.2. Paid 35k(with my trade in) for it. I get 17/18mpg fairly easily driving back and forth to work every day...don't really tow/haul heavy stuff but I think the worst I ever got was 15.3 on a really windy day and I've gotten as good as 21.9. But then again, I didn't buy it for gas mileage..it's just what I liked at the time I was ready to buy a new truck.

I would have thought they were better than that. My 2001 5.3 sierra got 19 pretty consistent.

Ya I don't get it.

If it spends just as much fuel as a V8, why not just put a NA V8 in it and call it good?
