Hi, Most likely am going to be swapping an LSA onto my 2014 LS3 SS and wondering if there is a brace that fits?

So I have been researching a little, I read that the SS Brace that I have now should work if I space it up a little But I have not confirmed this yet from any other posts. The ZL1 Brace I believe needs the ZL1 hood or aftermarket option to work once again not 100 % sure.

Can confirm this, zl1 brace needs zl1 hood. I got the kong gen 3 lid, and it fits with no spacers on the SS brace.

I am not familiar with that lid is it much different than the LSA? If I can just space mine up I'd do that.

Yeah, it is lower profile. Space your SS brace up, Hammdo did the same I believe.

Yeah I read like a 5/16th spacer would work so it doesn't have to go up much.

joe, if that's all you need just mill the lid. just like the ctsv guys have to do to run the zl1 lid on the V. plus I'm sure you will change the red lid color anyway.

you could also buy the BMR motor mounts and lower the engine 1\4" by leaving the spacer out.

Yeah I am just getting ideas together, I'll be painting the lid as well, not sure black or car color.

Just get the ZL1 hood and strut brace. No MacGyvering required.

Not really a fan of the ZL1 hood, I don't hate it but prefer the look of the SS.

I have a factory SS strut tower brace with the LSA and stock hood. Just a few washers on each side to raise it up a tiny bit and it's good to go.
