Bluetooth issues

I bought my car 6 months ago, had no problems until recently.

I have a iphone and it always connected straight away when i turned on the car. Now it doesnt find " General Motors" at all. Is their a way i can fix it without bringing it to the dealer? plus, ive read a couple threads saying you can stream music through bluetooth? ive always been using the computer usb cable.

Delete the pairing and redo it.

This is all covered in the manual.

Is re-pairing common? Manual states it only has to be done once.

I was referring to how to do it in the first place. You really shouldn't have to redo it. I don't think I've had a problem with mine (except when I hard reset my phone which is expected).

Hey all I had a question for you concerning the Bluetooth. Hopefully someone here can help me figure this out. I have an iPhone 3G and I was able to pair it up fine with the Bluetooth in the car, No problem. I went ahead and paired names up to the numbers I dial frequently also. However when I press the talk button and say "Dial" it asks for a number and it will not accept any of the names in which I stored. I don't know if I am usuing the wrong command, but I can't for the life of me figure it out. It works fine if I say the number, but I don't have everyones number memorized. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks!

Dial means you have to say the numbers.

Call is for voice control.
