Cobalt SS Owners
What are some real world gas mileage you guys are seeing? I can't find a truck that is worth buying (yet), so I'm considering a Cobalt SS. I'm not looking for a lower model, considering I'm assuming I'd get better MPG than my current truck. The SS would have some punch to it, and I'd honestly just like to have one lol.

I have the HHR SS Turbocharged. Same engine, heavier vehicle. At freeway speeds with cruise control I'm getting around 30mpg, stop and go will dip down to 23mpg.

I have a 06 Cobalt SS supercharged on a Highway trip I get about 31 mpg and that’s staying out of it. Right now on my driver information center I average 24.8 mpg at an average speed around 30 mph. The EPA rated them for 20 mpg city and 27 hwy.
It's a fun little car as a daily driver. Kevin May John Sauder Buick-Pontiac-Chevy Ephrata, Pa 717-859-7700

Heads up, there are 2 SS' from 06-07, the 2.4 NA, and the 2.0 Supercharged.
With my old Supercharged, i got 38 hwy MPG (CDN), and then i got Stage II and a custom tune and got 43 hwy MPG (CDN). I averaged 28 combined mpg (CDN). That car was pretty good on fuel, just the tank was a pinch too small to get any range out of it.

I'm getting 26ish combined in about half and half freeway/city. On a long level stretch I squeezed out 38 for an entire tank.

Go to the 10th picture, and when you do... can you please tell WTF has happened to those cup holders? It's like there is some type of gauge that has been foamed into it lol. |

Honestly I'd probably buy that car right now if it wasn't for that blue interior. But then again, IDK what to do about those mysterious cupholders lol.

The gauge in the cup holders is an autometer air to fuel ratio gauge. You can tell when you look a photo 13. It looks like the used fiberglass resin to make a mounting pod and never finished it. Other than looks like a pretty nice car. I have to agree on the seats. There a bit much for me.

I have a Saturn SKY Redline (SAME ENGINE) and get about 27 miles to the gallon, but I nail it constantly.
