Giddy is the word I would describe it. I had plans to put a set of twins on the Vette, but that has changed to save mode to get one out right in cash by summer. GM (Gods Motors) has done it again, robbing me of some cash!! But what a sweet ride.

I hear you all. This is freaking nuts. I have basically been waiting for this car for 20 years. My father and I were going to trade in an old convertible for a '69 Camaro SS back in the late 90s. He got sick and died before we could do it. So here I am for 10 years or so looking at this convertible and trying to figure out if I should get rid of it. When the first pictures came out of the 5th, I knew he would want me to have it.

Now I have one on order and updates can't come fast enough. I find myself searching the web hourly for anything new that might have come out. I am bugging the crap out of the dealer to see if he knows any more. And I try my best not to bring it up any more to the wife, but I can't help it. Hopefully posted on here will ease my pain. And to whoever said they dream about it, I am there. I go to bed, wake up and daydream most of the day about this thing sitting in my garage (I even repainted the walls and floor in anticipation). Have I totally lost it?

BTW, 2SS/RS in Victory Red with white stripes. 6-spd manual, hurst shifter, sunroof, pretty much the works.

2lt RS, Rally Yellow, Boston sound, V6 standard. Local dealer said he is getting 12 in, I am going to make myself wait for the price jacks to slow down then I will get the dealer to swap around until they get the one I want. No compromise here on a car I have waited 30 years on.
