Color opinion/flames
I was planning on ordering black and getting a traditional retro flame job painted on. Yesterday, my wife, an artist, saw an IOM and got all excited about the idea of red, yellow, and light blue flames, telling me that red and yellow make up orange (warm colors)) and the light blue is a (cool) complementary color.
Any artist on the board with thoughts about how this might look? |

Now, if you had a silver car, blue flames would look hot. Whatever colors you use, the painjob will look incomplete if you don't outline the flames in another color.

That is very well done and looks good. I am still a retro flame guy though.

I agree, that looks good but hotrod style flames are classic and never go out of style

for a classic flame job.....on a IOM. they would look best starting at RED, going to YELLO, fading into WHITE.
