My camaro is an ABM...(love it!) but I have a truck very similar in color to the SIM, and yea, it always looks clean even when theres a good layer of grim on there. Clean that off, and she shines!

Black is a pain in the -ss to keep clean!! We were going to get the yellow w/black stripes and then I saw a pic of the black. Well I fell in love and that was that. When I was asked what color we ordered, I said black w/ pride. They would reply "really, are you sure?". I had no clue. I do now. The next one (and there will be a next one) will be IOM. Or white. Or SIM. Or...anything but black.

Ditto on the SIM-luv it. There is a reson Chevy used that color for all those years as the prototype...easy to clean and really does show all the lines the best, IMO.

I love my SIM but do not be fooled. It does show crap pretty bad.
Having front end painted this week. All the chips look like attack of the bugs!

Thats what I like about my Silver mustang. When its dirty still cant hardly tell, but when you give it a bath its like the paint comes alive.

Doesn't matter what manufacturer or make, black is absolutely the hardest color to maintain makes you appreciate a car that much more when it has stunning paint and it black in color.

I agree. But would argue that there are some colors almost just as difficult. I haven't even seen an IBM in person, but it looks like it might really be tough to keep clean!
