Someone lodged a Tanning Ad in my Camaro Door!

Last night after leaving the gym, I noticed all the cars around me had printed tanning ads placed on the drivers side doors inside the window crack. Mine was lodge completely inside the door and has now fallen inside the door and makes a crackling noise when I roll down the window. What should I do?

I've already called the tanning place and they refuse to call me back.

I hate to take it to the dealer and pay for something thats not my fault.

If I choose to take the door panel off... is there anyway I can access the inside of the power windows so I can get that piece of paper out? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go to the Tanning place and demand an explanation. That's ridiculous!

I'm not sure how much opening the frame would help - I've done it to install door speakers in other cars, but never seen the window itself - maybe the Camaro's is different.

I would go to the tanning place and say WTF.....

Get the estimate from dealer for fix and go see the owner, unless you don't feel comfortable taking the door panel off..

Go to the police station. They tampered with your car.

Get it removed by a professional, document everything you do, take pictures, keep all receipts, and take them to small claims court if they refuse to pay.

Get the dealer to give you an estimate of what it would cost to have it removed. Take that to the owner of the Tanning Salon and tell him if he doesn't pay to have that removed, you'll take him to small claims court and he will pay that way plus expenses and fees for having to take him to court.

Don't call the tanning salon. Drive there and let them have it in person

Two can play at this game. Lodge your Camaro in one of their tanning beds and see how they like it.

that would be counter productive though. lodge a rock in their window and tell them you were just advertising

That's crazy. Around here they use sticker advertisements on huge magnets, scratches the heck out of the paint. Its not hard to take the door panel off, its a shame you have to do it though. I agree with Rockmont though, if they don't show up in court its an automatic victory for you!

I spoke with the tanning bed today and they are trying to work something out. They offered to use one of their "friend's" body shops to get the ad out. Here's the only problem I have with that. I don't trust them at all... and who's to say they wont intentionally do something because of all this hassle?
