I also purchased the AT and installed in over the weekend. My LS3 sounds great. Anyone else encountering a rubbing noise after the install? I need to get it back in the air and trace it back.

We were close to the tunnel brace but twisted the pipes that go from the mufflers to the X a little and "BAM" 1/2" clearance.

I could not get mine to clear at all. I had to use some washers and longer bolts on the tunnel brace. Other than that I love it.

I'm only posting this because I want you all to call Adam at ADM performance and order you a set for your catback.. It is sooo simple to install once you have the bungs for the 02 sensors welded in. (any welding shop can do it in a second.. just put them where the factory o2 sensor bungs are on the stock cat-pipe.

ENJOY!!! I DO!! plus 18whp on the dyno and two thumbs up on the butt dyno... I think i make mustangs drool! :-)

I am leaning to the flowmaster
817481 .Hard to tell on the pc on sound. Is it pull me over loud and is it I cant here the radio loud. If so its not for me. But I do not like the stock sound. Its to quiet. (no headers) How is it next to the Borla x

I had a 99 SS with a loud mouth will this be louder.

Also had a 68 camaro with a 327 t-350 with flow master american thunder series 40 with headers . They sounded nice .But had a lot of drone at idle.

With factory manifolds and cats its a very very nice mellow sound.. but sounds great under heavy throttle. now you open it up with a cat delete like my video above, or longtubes it will be MUCH more noticeably loud. these will have some drone at crusing speeds but you have to remember your new car is wayyy better insulated than your oldie. The 40 series just say muscle car.. sound like muscle car and its a good quality system.

This may be a stupid question, but i was wondering how much labor should cost to get an exhaust system, with similar ease as this one, cost? I'm just looking for an average cost or estimate. Thanks!

I have the same exhaust, and its sounds pretty good.... at cruising speed its not that bad at all and when you get on it... she roars. I like it

I was gonna buy the system online and i was going to go into a shop and get it installed. $50 sounds reasonable. I went to a local place and they were trying to rip me off saying it would cost me $150 to get it installed.

My buddy is a mechanic so we used his shop......he and I had the factory exhaust off and the new Flowmaster cat-back AMT hanging in 45 min., and I'm no way a mechanic.....but I can fetch tools real well! All I had to do is stay out of his way...lol.

There is no way this would be more than a 1 hour job at ANY muffler or mechanic shop....very easy. So whatever the shop's hourly rate is, should dictate the charge.

Good luck!
