let me just tell you...you are sincerely wasting your hard earned money on the mailslot LED...i suggest doing what us other v6ers are doing...buy the LED bar that goes in your grille...its 25 bucks...an easy mount and wire job...i made it more difficult by using the toggle switch idea like wizzer did....but save urself some serious ching and get the grille light instead

Just grab it with some needle nose pliers and pull straight out... it's just clipped in there.

the light looks so much better in the slot. The install is super easy. Dan Potter did an awesome job making this fit:

I's well worth the money.

Potter's knightlight is awesome, easy install. You can pull the slot out with pliers (careful not to cut the plastic with them though it is soft). You can remove the deckplate over the front end (between the facia and the radiator) and run the cables underneath then replace for a seamless look.

Looks fine. But the AAC RGB has 7 different colors and 20 lighting patterns. And a remote control so no need to wire an eternal switch. For $40 more I like the AAC.

ebay guys, ebay... so many more options, check out iJDMtoy's color bars. 7 color LED, tons of patterns, including Police Blue/Red strobe patterns. I love that =D

Prices are cheap. THe fact is, once the product is specialized for your car in specific, the prices are jacked up. But like Wizzer proved, you can be innovative and save so much money. I mean, his camaro was featured on C5, just goes to show you, originality is worth it =D
