the borla touring is about as quiet as it is going to get. How was it before the headers? That is probably where all your noise is coming from?

Actually, it wasn't volume wasn't bad with Kooks and stock exhaust. I think the Borla Touring would be Ok with stock manifolds. I never ran that combination and the Kooks are here to stay.

I guess I'm just feeling cheap after dumping eleven hundred and something on the Borlas and not getting the desired effect.

it sounds like you dont like the noise. Should have left it stock maybe. I bet it would be perfect with stock manifolds as the touring has just a small tone over the stock exhaust.
