I guess the good news is that you can always change the windshield later, if you're unhappy with the projection.

Who knows, maybe you'll get a rock chip and your insurance will replace your windshield with the 2011 model...

It will take some time to finish this mod, Not all the parts are out from GM at this time, it takes some time for new parts to get out.

I will have some pics of the switch and harness this week and me cutting the dash for the switch.

Is there any daring member in your area that has a 2011 that would let you try with theres?

You know something else that is crazy, is that I heard the name of who made the HUD from Al Oppenheiser at the MI Fbody meet and greet. I can't recall the name.

WOW cut the dash already? I would wait to see if it works before I tried anything permanent.

Also as you're doing this could you look into what it would take(part number etc) to replace the dash cover too, for those who don't feel comfortable cutting their dash?

You are a true pioneer!!

Will do, But you don't need too, My pics are not good but there is more then enable room behind the instrument Cluster, And the area behind the instrument was design with a cut out for the HUD.

OK prices are out for all the parts, I updated the front page with GM list prices you can get the parts for a lot less, but that is up to you as it looks now at list this is $650 but if you got to one of the discount GM Parts houses you are at 425+ or -
