I live in the bay area and I would like to know where to take it legally to race and road track. Any Idea's?

Infineon through a group called NASA.

On track instruction, and racing. Usually on the last weekend of the month if I remember correctly. Costs about 300$ for the whole weekend.

Thanks guys. I know you can drag race on Wensday's at Infineon. I would also like to drive a course or hit an abandoned air strip. Have you been to either of these tracks?

A friend of mine is racing at the LeMons race at Thuderhill next weekend. My buddy and others have regularly raced Thunderhill up North and Buttonwillow South.

There are trackdays on the road course at Sears Point as well as Thunderhill. Every now and then, a promoter will do Laguna Seca. Check the tracks calendars frequently because last minute trackdays come up because a prior track rental was cancelled.

Also check with local clubs and track promoters. Here's a couple...

I am not a big supporter of putting new drivers on the Infineon road course with little or no experience. I think you would have a better time at Thunderhill. It is easier to learn and if you have an off track incident your chances of not causing any damage increase dramatically over Infineon.

Jerry Kunzman's outfit , NASA , is a great place to start
