I'm a college student too, I ended up getting a 2LT and while I could get a very basic SS for about 2 grand more, it just made more sense to get the V6. SURE I could get a whole bunch hp, but personally I'd rather have all the bells and whistles of the 2LT, there's always a faster car. At my campus there is a GT-R so an SS looks slow to that, hell even my roommates Corvette can't keep up with the it, despite the driver of the GT-R getting that over the a 370Z because of trunk space..
But that is a story for another time.Quote:

I had a guy tell me all about how dumb I was getting a V6 as several people passing by stopped and gawked at the car. When he finished his lecture he got in his Toyota Van. Yes those wise grocery-getters are who matter the most to me.
Get what you want to make you happy. And if it is $$ the V6 will NOT disappoint.

Not to amazing 400 +hp from a v8(he'll it's a chevy)it can get that all day. But give me a v6 with 300+hp with chances to mod more out of it now that's fn amazing.my choice had nothing to do with engine size .when I saw the 2lt rs cgm I just new what I wanted and still after a year ID do it again.go with what you like.by the way I drive one of the fastest v6 rs on the site (in my own mined).!

all I know is got my M6 last November and I swear I get happier with the each day. Even if I do a few mods for more power I still will have saved a lot of money in the end. Oh and its been on the track and man does it handle. Can't wait until my friend gets his SS out there
