Impromptu Greet and Eat in Southlake - 09/01/10 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Anyone up for an impromptu greet and eat at 6:30 p.m. in the old Circuit City parking lot (260 N. Kimball Avenue, 76092) in Southlake next Wednesday, September 1st? It seemed odd not doin' one in August and thought I'd throw this out there. Talked to Homestar1217 today and thought I'd post this time. Although we went to Kincaid's Burgers in July, there is also Dickey's BBQ and Planet Burrito in that same strip center as well. For those that missed the last greet and eat, the parking lot is huge and has plenty of room for lots of Camaros!

I know many of you are planning on participating in the Laps even on the 11th, but this would fill in the gap between now and the end of September.

I hope to get my car into ADM Tue or Wed but even if I do it should be out by then. If it is....you bet I'm going to want to get out and drive it. Actually, I want to drive it even if I can't get into ADM by then.

I'm counting the days!!!

Headers, Magnaflow 3", and tune.

Stage II cam and gears sometime down the road.

Waiting on the headers to get ceramic coated. Hopefully they are done Mon or Tue and installed maybe Wed.

Can't make it this week unfortunately...have some BBQ for me.

Speaking of the Laps for Charity, when is everyone going? I am pegged to go with the DFW Owners group but I have to work Saturday and timing-wise, the LoneStar group works better for me (it also is some 65+ Camaros strong so far). Haven't decided which to go to/with.

BBQ sounds good. I work right down the road so could possibly make it. Coworkers and I usually go to Planet Burrito for happy hour since they have $1 drafts and margaritas.

I'll say maybe for now and see how it goes tomorrow when I try to get it out of the garage to wash it. Hmm backing up shouldn't be as hard as getting it back into the garage.
