I paid 300 over invoice. Did not even have to fight to get that. I probabaly could have saved a few hundred more without much trouble.

check out truecar.com's 'excelent' price range. You should be able to get that- just a tad over dealer cost

Thanks guys, it looks like I should getting $600 - $1000 off MSRP would be a good deal. I'll let you know how I do.

Not sure of your market there but I would shoot for more like $1500.
Start at invoice(not sticker) and work your way up.

This is the GM College discount, I am just starting to work on the numbers but haven't talked to a dealer yet but do you guys think I should be able to negotiate below the Supplier Price or be happy with the $1,139 discount? This is a 2011 2LT RS btw.

I live in CA - San fernando valley area. I had previously checked out the camaros (dealership is just down the street from our house), did some more research on comparable cars (I am a IT - computer nerd person). So I called my sales person and said I wanted to take a test drive that weekend - didn't tell my husband. He said that Saturday was $2k off. It was very hot that day - over 100 and a good day to test so we went for a comprehensive drive - tested the sound system with Linkin Park. It passed the Terroid test. Went back to the dealership and noticed that there were signs for "Thoreau Chevrolet" all around. This dealership is the set for "Men of a Certain Age". A favorite show of mine. I got the $2000.00 off and a good interest rate (5.5%) as well as a Ray Romono autographed license plate frame! I was going to buy a 2010 but I got the 2011 with all the features I wanted and the Imperial Blue (Yankee Blue) color.
We are very happy - our dog likes it also.
