I've got the flip-phone 'version' of the blackberry. That, 'Sync'? Except for it's Mp3 capability I love it! The only problem is, like I started to say, in order to use it as a true Mp3 player, you need earphones, well - it doesn't come with any, and as of last month they don't even make any...The outlet is specially made to both charge and output sound to earbuds, so it's not a conventional audio jack - it's flat. The earbuds need to specially made for this specific phone - and they don't make them.
![]() other than that - which isn't a necessity, I LOVE IT. Signal strength everywhere is great. The phone is bigger than the RAZR, but just as thin, so the screen is Huge, and sound quality just blows me away. ![]() Okay. IPHONE.... lower the price a little and I might get one

I just dont justify getting ANY kind of phone for $600?!? I mean, sure, you can get one $100 cheaper with half the memory, but what's the point in that? I would just go ahead and splurge a little if I wanted one that bad and get more memory to hold my songs!
EllwynX, thanks for helping me out on that one. I knew the button did one universal thing, I just couldn't think of it! Mindz, I had pretty much the SAME problems with my Razr. I originally got one for Christmas from my boyfriend the first year the black Razr came out. I LOVED the phone. For a year it worked fine *maybe less than a year, but more or less!* Then all of a sudden it would just turn itself off for no apparent reason, etc. I called Cingular and they sent me a brand new black Razr and told me to send them mine (which I hated doing since the phone I had was originally the one that my boyfriend got me for Christmas :() So I get the new Razr after I lost my ringtones off the original one, the new one works about 3 months and starts doing the same thing. I call Cingular back and they sent ANOTHER black Razr. I used it for about 2 months, it started acting up too. I finally just took my SIM card out and put it back in my other Motorola phone I had originally before I even got the Razr (which still works, to this day). This past Christmas, my boyfriend got me a Sony Ericsson Z525a. I really like it. No problems whatsoever so far *knock on wood*. But I think a cell phone is going to be an iffy situation no matter what route you go . I think Nokias are pretty good phones, and my Motorola has been great (with the exception of the Razr). This Sony Ericsson seems pretty good too.

I've never heard anythign good about the RAZR. All the stories pretty much sound likes the Mindz's.
As for Sprint. TAG, I can't believe you are happy after the debacle. That's exactly WHY I hate Sprint like no other. none of that was accidental dude. If it didn't happen to EVERY consumer that deals with them, then MAYBE your situation could have been a unique accident. The problem is, that is very intentional, and that is their corporate norm...confuse the consumer iwth extra charges that they will pay for services not rendered. Sounds like easy money to me, huh? Screw them. |

Well...10 years and no other problems. So, with all free roaming, 500 free text messages for my our phones for life, and $5 for power vision for both phones for two years (the life of our renewed contract which is nothing to us seeing as though we've been w/ them forever anyway...) I'm pretty happy.

I have dropped it a couple of times, but it still works just fine. That's more than I can say for my old Nokia phones. Like I said, I've had it for about a year now; the battery still works like new. It takes an incredibly short amount of time to charge (I've never timed it, but it's less than an hour, while on). I don't use it that often, but the battery lasts 3 or 4 days for me. I haven't used any of these new top-of-the-line phones, but I don't notice any problems with sound quality. It actually works better than almost any other phone for people with hearing aids, in terms of sound quality. The text messages are quite simple to retrieve. It's just [Message] [3] and you're at your inbox. Maybe I just don't know what I'm missing, but I have no qualms with my RAZR. It's not a fun phone, but it sends and receives calls and text messages, and is blue tooth capable and that's all I really need. |

I've had my RAZR for almost 2 years now and I don't really have anything bad to say about it. My keypad went crazy on me a few months ago so I took it to verizon and they gave me a new phone. I think it's the other cell provider's phones. My friend has a cingular RAZR and I can't operate that thing to save myself. I like my RAZR...

Finally getting all my ringers downloaded through 3gforfree.com. This place has like zero of the good stuff for you to download. But, if you go to limewire and download all the crap you want (cartman, sounds, songs, etc), you can then take it to 3gforfree.com and upload it.
If it's in wav format, it won't upload it. You have to convert it over to mp3 format. I found the conveter over at http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index_b.html . I coverted all of my wav files over to mp3. Let me begin by saying, I had NO IDEA just how much space and memory was being taken up by my wav files. I converted all of those over to mp3's and saved a ton of space. But, like the transformers sound bite that was sent to me was in wav format. I used "Stitch" to convert it to mp3. I then uploaded it by using 3gforgree. Then, I sent it to my phone once it was uploaded on 3g. Got on the phone, web, my content, download, and put in place of ringers. I've got some great ones now. I had always wanted different ringers (AK-47, Police siren, cartman singing "Kyles mom is a Beatch", Transformers, etc.). In case there was anyone here wondering how to do this stuff, it's very easy. Oh, and I reccommend once again anyone having wav files on their computer to convert them over to mp3's via Stitch. |

Does it come with WiFi, or do you have to use your cellphone's internet and pay $$$?

"Switch" you mean, right? Did you buy that program, btw? I used it for it's 30 try-out days, and it was really nice! But now it doesn't let me anymore, I use a different, competely free, and just as good one, now....

Yup...I meant switch. Typo on my part...my bad. I don't recall any 30 day trial deal. If it's only 30 days, it's cool. I already "switched" all my wav files over to mp3's, so I'm good. What other program are you running...just in case??
