Now that I think about it, he was leaning against his car and it sounded like the crinkling of a coke or beer can. LOL!

I should have asked him to show me the holes in the floorboard where he pedals his feet.

I love to rev my engine while next to them, watch them cringe thinking about all the gas I just wasted.

My daily driver is a 1 ton Dulley pick up truck along with my Camaro (on good weather days). Yes, I am a woman, I know the difference between my truck & the Camaro.

My neighbor ran out of his house when I got the mail, because he could hear me coming ("I love the sound of the engine", he told me. There is NO comparison to the truck VS Camaro!

That's the response I get from 95% of people, they love the sound.

With headers and a 3" competition exhaust it is loud, but it's music to my ears. Something tells me that girly man hadn't seen/heard a real muscle car before. Maybe it scared him, thus his comment

My other car is a honda hybrid which I drive everyday to and from work but when it comes to fun, nothing beats a good old American muscle car. I love my camaro, it is my 3rd one and not the last. That guy has no clue about life I would have told him to F...# off before I shove his smart car up his a**

"Like I care about my carbon footprint. In one year the volcanoes on Earth put out more carbon dioxide and sulfur then mankind has put out combined since our entire existence."

People like this fail to realize that we are mere gnats to the Earth and everything we do and have done fail in comparison to what the Earth does to itself every year.

It's aTeaching Moment Actually

Those folks need some education.

Admittedley, the back seats in a Camaro are tight. But keep in mind it has seating for four. the Smart four/two, has only two seats.

Now, look at the EPA Ratins for Smart and V-6 Camaro

Smart -- 33 mpg city and 41 mpg highway - combined - 36 mpg

V-6 Camaro - Manual - 17 mpg city and 29 mpg highway - combined - 21 mpg

Now let's do some math here:

33x2=66 seat miles - Smart City Rating
17x4=68 seat miles - Camaro City Rating - pretty even match there

41x2=82 seat miles -Smart Highway Rating
29x4=116 seat miles Camaro Highway Rating - bigger difference

36x2=72 seat miles - Smart Combined Rating
21x4=84 seat miles - Camaro Combined Rating - Still advantage Camaro

Yes that is all theoretical. Not factoring in respective payloads. But, I think you can get the drift here. the Smart car, is way over rated and overhyped by the so-called environmentally conscious segment of our society

Besides, they are uncomfortable. Ride like a buckboard. And not exactly confidence building,on the highway.

Don't worry about what he said. I'd be jealous too if I owned a transportation appliance like a Smart, Prius, etc.

That reminds me of something that happened to me a few months ago.....

I was filling up the camaro at the gas station and a guy in a Prius was on the pump next to me. He looks over at me and says "Bet you wish you had one of these right about now". I shot back with "I already got enough trouble getting laid, don't need something like that". I wish I had a picture of his face.... it was priceless!

As I got in the car, he finally came back with, "well, I bet your's doesn't get 51MPG with the A/C on"..... I said "well, I bet yours can't do this"
