That's at least one of the best reports I've ever seen them give an American car. True, they don't cut you any slack and in the not too distant past CR didn't like ANY American cars. I'm sure this excellent review is more a tribute to GM's improved quality than it is any change in CR's attitude. I especially liked the "blisteringly quick" description....at 5.7sec....heck, that's nothin'.

I wouldn't call 0-60 in 5.7 "blisteringly quick";I actually expected a quicker time. However, I'd love to have a G8 GT as my daily driver......with a 2010 Camaro SS as my weekend warrior.

They put the car in drive and step on the gas. They don't worry about getting the best possible time.
