So here are the pictures to show the not OEM fit, but it's still damn nice.

You can not see the gap until the trunk is open and you are looking for it.

the sides and rear match up perfect.

Great spoiler you got.

Same here. I couldn't wait for GM little game of releasing their blade spoiler sometime in the spring to only for their new 2011 Camaro. You will not be able to order them and install them on your old Camaro for a long long time.

I went ahead and ordered from the guy in Texas and install it to my camaro. Everything fits really well too. See picture.

I have very little gap and it's really hard to see. I'm sure the GM spoiler will have the same gapping issue like this one we have.

Wing looks great regardless of the gap, you may be able to seal it up with some black rubber weatherstripping cut to fit. The Punisher/Hennessey stripe looks awesome and very unique, don't get rid of it IMO.

Negative, it's part of tiny error in molding process.

Even with the front fascia of the GM GFX has flaw in it. There is a small gap/opening at the center joint.

For the spoiler, a small pool of water is collected at the top of trunk since there is no drain hole as it was designed. That's nothing to be concerned off. Remember to close your trunk with a less force since the spoiler makes the trunk a bit heavier than normal. You only need about 6 inches gap to close your trunk now.

OK, Thanks for the info. I am excited to get mine. Painter is ready for it, already scheduled so I am good to go there.

I had talked to a dealer who had installed a GM one and they said the GM one required drilling of the side pieces. PLus because of the weight they increased the shock size.

I do like this one better because of no light. Will help my painted stripes look better.

There are holes for you to drill for the side parts, but I didn't do that since the 3M tapes are as strong as the screws. After about 2000 miles, the side parts are still holding up good as new. If you are affraid people will steal the side parts, then drilling holes and put in screws is a good idea.

I agreed that there is no break light on the spoiler. The one GM is coming out with a break lights and new struts for your trunk because the spoiler is super heavy that requires bigger struts. This spoiler is designed to allow other people to see your OEM middle break light. U'll love it when everything is done. Let us see what it looks like on your car.

Goliath I appreciate your time and infor. Good stuff here. The only thing that scares me about tape is years. I have things I put onto my truck using
3M tape and after a period of about 5 years it became loose especially when it got really hot. So I'll think about that.

I do have a thread for Dr jkel but will surely post when she is done/ Thanks for all your help.

John
