Auto Butler

Does anyone have any experience with dealers selling the Auto Butler program? Is it good? Is it worth it?

Did you say auto scratcher? Hand wash only. Some friendly advise is read in the section for washing and detailing. Check out the "junkman" threads. Please.

Once you mention "dealers selling" it sets off a red flag. Anything sold by a dealer as an "add-on" or "added dealer markup" to the price of the car is full of profit and little benefit to you. Politely refuse Auto Butler.

My last car (Pontiac G6 GT Coupe) was my first new car out of college. I got roped into the Auto Butler service because I was so excited to just get into my new car.

I can say that it DOES come out looking pretty awesome. If you have loads of money to just throw around then go ahead and get it, but it really is just a glorified wash and wax. If you take a couple hours on a Saturday you can do just as nice a job yourself.

Thank you for the advise. I love these forums and the how knowledgable the people are on them. Makes learning things about the camaro so easy.

I def will not be getting the Auto Butler. I will be reading the Junkman threads and learn to do all this detailing myself. This is my first new car so I will def will be reading a lot on proper detailing techniques and products.

I had it, used it once, they destroyed my car with tiny scratches, they almost ripped the gas door off, had to be replaced/painted-I got my money back ASAP and had everything fixed. Definately NOT worht it!
