Was looking through SEMA 2010 videos and noticed a familiar engine bay at 0:53.

So here I'm told by Dynomax that they're willing to sponsor me with an exhaust, but I have to wait until Feb 1st until the product is ready. After waiting for 3 months to sign a contract and have the exhaust sent to me on the 1st, so I can install and have the car tuned before the fest, they give me the run around.

I was told before SEMA to call on 1/31 so I could have a contract sent to me to sign and have the parts shipped out on 2/1/11. I call today and ask for the contract to be sent. 3 hours later I get an e-mail from my contact that reads...

"No product...Check back in 3-4 weeks."

FML... Now I'm in a scramble to see if I can find a 3" exhaust without drone that I can have in my possesion by the 17th of February so I can have it installed before getting dynotuned. Sending out a proposal tonight. We'll see what happens.

100%. I didn't feel like spending hours taping it on the drive back, and now I have some paint pitting on the front bumper. I'd recommmend it if you are going for a car show.

Gather round everyone, I have a story to tell.

Pre-SEMA I make a verbal agreement with a company about an exhaust. They tell me to give them a call after SEMA to get set up with this sponsorship.

After SEMA, I call and they say the product won't be ready until 2/1/11 and to give them another call on 1/31/11.

Come middle of January I set up an appointment to have my longtubes, exhaust and pulley installed, then help coordinate a dyno tuning event for the end of february.

1/31/11 comes around and I call ready to have a contract signed and faxed over. The contact at this company calls to order the exhaust for me. 3 hours later I get an email.

Subject: "No Product Yet"

Body: "Please check back with me in 3-4 weeks".

I'm not in a scramble to try and find a replacement exhaust to put on my car by the 17th of february when my appointment is. I've sent out proposals to a few companies, all who have gotten back to me promptly and it's very much appreciated, but I may not have anything new but wheels for the fest. I was really excited to finally put on the longtubes and get close if not break the 500 rwtq and 600 rwhp barriers. =(

Found a new company who's ready and willing to sponsor my exhaust. Product isn't ready for the market yet. Most likely won't be ready in time to install for the dyno tuning.
