I would love to see a straightline supercharged performer to knock the GT500 right of its ego stage.....
AND then the Z28 with handling, lighter weight, naturally aspirated LS7 or beefed up LS3... to go ahead and rain all over the Boss' parade before it hits the streets.

As 58 yr old who has owned two Gen 1 Z-28's, I gave this some thought last night and convinced myself they would name it the ZL-1 and not Z-28. My basis was that the Z-28 name is diluted by some of the other Gens, and the ZL-1 moniker fits the ZR-1 Corvette and brings back the baddest Camaro ever built. It also lacks some name association since many folks do not remember or know of the original ZL-1
