I bought it from Ted at Jannetty Racing .

PS hurry , he only had two in stock when I bought mine .

No , custom ZR1 flywheel required to fit LS3 crank . Flywheel is the most expensive part in the kit . I'm pretty sure the flywheel alone was almost $ 900.00 from Lingenfelter .

This is correct. The flywheel is the key along with actuator and spacer, pressure plate, and discs. The good news is that it drives close to a factory LS-3 clutch as far as pressure and pedal travel are concerned around town. However, it will handle huge power. Also, the GM performance guys have near unlimited funds and expertize to develop, install, and warranty products. My point is why would anyone want to go aftermarket if there is something like the ZR-1 dual disc available? At least for the power levels we see on our Camaro builds. Like over 1000 rwhp and the clutch lives and handles the power.

No you can NOT, the Stock flywheel will NOT accept the ZR1 Twin Disc clutch.

The ZR1 flywheel is 8 Bolt where the LS3 is 6 bolt, this requires a special Flywheel to mate up the ZR1 Twin disc Clutch to the LS3, Plus a Spacer to put behind the ZR1 Slave Cylinder and longer bolts.

These Clutches are The BEST I have Ever Driven and Can take a Lot of Punishment after the Break in Period.

Remember guys Proper Break In is Critical to ANY Clutch.

Ted.

The LS9 (ZR1) has a 9 bolt crank, the LSA and the LSX GM crate engine have a 8 bolt crank. The flywheel in the above images is the Katech Aluminium multi piece unit not a LPE steel flywheel.

Typo, Either way these guys still need a 6 Bolt Flywheel to bolt up the ZR1 Clutch.

Ted.

I ran my Spec clutch till it was dead and just finally installed the ZR1 unit .
Installation went well , clutch action smooth , feels like stock light effort pedal .
