It's true. The winter gives you that, absence makes the heart grow fonder feeling. But still alot of stones on the roads due to this harsh winter.

I have been driving all through the Buffalo winter, With the right tires its been a lot of fun. I understand those that want to keep everything pristine....but its a car and they are meant for driving.

Winter ended for me a week ago when I picked my car up from the dealership. Luckily, we haven't gotten more than a light dusting in central NY since then. I've washed the car four times to get rid of the road gunk.
Had a few days of rain followed by a beautiful 60 degree sunny day today.

Next year though, she's staying in storage until April :(

Thankfully I have my Beast, a.k.a. 97 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 to drive once the bad weather hits.

Last weekend, after some rain that washed away the salt, I had the Camaro out. Then came more freezing and more salt, followed by more rain midweek and a warm day today.

So, this weekend will be good, but then there's more rain and overnight freezing and salt on the way.

Winter is not over here in Massachusetts. Not for at least 3 more weeks.

Bummer.

It was a long winter, but we made it! I broke Trigger out of hibernation on Tuesday, drove through a rainstorm to our clear bra appointment. Drove the Camaro to work yesterday and plan to do so today - the weather should cooperate. So, it's official. Winter is Over, I hope... since it appears that the rear end is about to go out in my winter beater.:(

Haven't driven my Camaro yet, but I uncovered and started it, got insurance back on it (just had comprehensive only for staorage), and went motorcycle riding yesterday. So definitely spring has sprung.

I actually drove mine all winter. I popped for winter tires (Pirelli Scorpion Ice&Snow) and another set of rims, and I only got stuck once (and in Pittsburgh, that's saying something!). I bought the car to make my 100 mile/day commute more fun, and the mission is accomplished. I actually put 26,000 fun-filled miles on it on one year.
