Driving in rush hour...

So I had to venture to St. Paul today and was stuck in the first waves of rush hour on the way home. I must say that the horsepower was there for merging quickly into traffic which was awesome....but...I really found that watching for oncoming traffic over my left shoulder really sucked with the limited viewing... One more reason I guess I'm hoping all the yellow will stand out and people will hopefully SEE me coming!

Still love the car, turned over 1000 miles today...but REALLY glad I don't have to drive daily in that mess....

Man, I am so glad I live 5 hours from the nearest city and that BS they call rush hour...

Glad to hear you survived without a ding or frightening close call.

Did have one close call with merging...but the dude backed off and let me in...that is what prompted me to post.

Am relying on the mirrors a lot...have too...but I'm old school I guess when it comes to actually looking.

Ha, was fun to drive 75+ for such a long time though

1) buy blind spot mirrors for 'both" side mirrors!
2) "learn" to USE and TRUST what you see in your side mirrors!
3)DON'T try to turn your head to see out the back of a 2010,2011,camaro!
use the side mirrors!...just sayin!

again!..don't try to drive this car,and attempt to look out the back while turning your head away from traffic!..you will "die"..TRUST your side mirrors! "believe"
what you see in them, and buy 'blind" spot mirrors for both side mirrors!

Rush hour, well, I do rush hour/bumper to bumper every day -twice a day (morning and evening). I have to go to work. I don't mind it.

I may need to change my clutch/brake fluids more often than the non-rush hour drivers.

Read my comments from a couple of years ago and adjust your mirrors the way that I stated. If you look into your outside mirrors and see ANY of your car in them, they are adjusted WRONG.

If you are able to go that fast, it is not rush hour traffic. Rush hour traffic here means a top speed of 10 MPH on the freeway (if you are lucky).

Just sayin'

Good point. It wasn't rush hour on the way there and on the way home once I was free of the cities I could rev it up a little
