Gm can check to see if the installed tune is stock. They can't check to see how many times the V6 has been flashed. So you install an aftermarket tune, flash back to stock and take it in... GM will never know... On the ss there is a counter on how many times the engine has been flashed. If that count doesn't match their records, then GM can send you on your way.
