I've heard that the steering wheel swap is pretty easy. But, I'm not sure I can get the steering wheel before May 7. I have a vendor checking into it.

I am looking at getting the Ace steering wheel. But, I just missed out on the group buy. I'm checking to see if they'll give me the same price and if they can get it to me by May 6.

I'll make another group buy to save shipping if attendees let me know by end of Tuesday they want one. It took a week to get these shipped to me last time through Amazon. Shipping was on $3 for qty 5 vs $26 for other online retailers.
If you get enough people wanting one, you can add me to the list. Even if i don't do it there, I will eventually need one.

My car is stored inside and has less than 12,000 in two years....hopefully it will be more miles on track than off doubt it, but that would be nice..

I am hearing rumor the ZL1 is going to be between 45 & 50 and able to place an order at the end of next month....... price is making me think about it more and more.....

Quick question for everyone thats going to be @ Mod Day... I've already got angel eyes and fogs I am brining to have installed (I've got a member here whom said he's willing to help with that and has been super helpful so far to me ! , Thanks! ) and I was curious, how long/hard do you think it would be to do new springs @ mod day as well? I want to install the H&R drop on my 6, but am already doing the Eagle eyes and adding fogs to my LS... am I pushing it?.... I'm not to car savvy so this event will be super helpful for me, thanks to all!

I personally would not do springs if you have to travel far. You should do an alignment after springs.

We have done MANY sets of springs at mod days past. Its about a 2 hour job. Talk to Heinz. I am fine with it but there is a lot of people coming. Its really his call. I can whip them out pretty fast as long as I have help that can be the tool runner and the "do this, get that" guy... If he says OK... Get there early, we'd want to get you done first.... before I get tired. The eagle eyes and fogs can be done at the same time as I am doing the springs.

As far as alignment, you'll be fine to drive whereever you need to. I mean, I wouldnt drive to california or anything but a couple hundred miles or so is fine. I think I put about 100 miles on mine after the install but before alignment.

I also need to run something by the gang/Heinz. I got a CGM Heritage Grill needing to be installed. I did not think I would actually have it before Mod day, as shipping at gmpartsdirect said it would be 4-6 weeks, showed up at my doorstep in 5 days.

I can bring it if anyone has some knowledge on installing it. or time permits with all other going on. But if the list is full, I can get it another time.

It requires the front end to be removed... maybe GC-Camaro can help... he has one and I think he installed his. Again, I will let Heinz say YAY-or-NAY...

Installing a heritage grill on mod day is fine with me. I've had the front end off mine before and it was pretty easy.

hey hrpiii it couldn't be any easier I put chozn4service grill in with a little help from him I would say we had it done in less then 2 hours maybe even sooner. If you have your car lowered it would be best to jack it up and take the tires off just easier to get to the bolts that need to come out. Just make sure you have something to lay the front down on to be able to push the tabs in on the old grill to get it out they can be a real PITA. If you want to put it on before then let me know I think the weekend before I am free.

They had the nose off of my car at IPS this week. They showed me the 9 or so bolts to remove to take it off. The trick is to have 2 people to lift it off once the bolts are undone.
