that being said i'd really like one and like to be in one of the few i will probably see on the road, but the more i think about it, the more it just seems like too much money. i gawk at guys dating supermodel-looking girls, but i know some supermodel-looking girls, and i don't think i'd want to date them for more than 3 months. i'd just hate to spend $50k on a car and find out i have the same sentiments. |

You know, it's an interesting common thread here that has popped up a couple of times. It's the suspension bits that will truly make the ZL1 worth the money. If I could get those options WITHOUT the motor upgrade I'd do it in a heartbeat. And I'm with blaSSt -- I want a convertible. Make the MHR an option on the SS line, or give us a ZL1 'vert option. I hope GMs got a couple of lurking trolls here... I have been saving money for 3 years now. I've got cash GM, gimme my toy! /grin

i feel like the responses to this poll are more like like facebook invite responses--undecided means no, no means hell no, and yes means maybe. so probably like 30 people from this post so far will actually buy one.

Well I can say it was love at first sight for me. I'm in the HELL YES category of gonna get one. I would very much like to see an auto option come up, but that's certainly not a deal breaker for me.

I'm with you on that one. And, if I won the lotto, I could think of some other vehicles I'd purchase instead considering I already have a badaSS.

Don't worry, regardless of whether or not it's a good idea to make automatic racecars GM will practically do anything to sell vehicles. So, don't be surprised if you see one soon.

Here in Canada, the word on the street is ZL1 will average $75k+. No fans here at all. Most SS owners will mod the shit out of their cars first before buying a ZL1 to store in thier garage for 25yrs.
