this is mostly true... But, if you blow up your motor or transmission... they will look to see how many times the car has been flashed. if that number doesn't add up... they will DENY!!!

How am I gonna blow my transmission with just headers and exhaust? lol.

And I swore they said they had no way to check the reflash history. That they could only tell if the current tune is stock or not with our system.

No no... I'm not saying you WILL...

I'm just sayin IF.. like IF you drive through a war zone and your car gets shot... that kinda "IF"

Basically dealers don't check the flash counter unless it is a MAJOR repair. Like a blown motor or transmission. GM requires a flash count before they will spend that much money on a warranty repair.

That's all I'm sayin home gurl..

I'm so confused. Everyone in the V6 section says they can't tell how many times its been reflashed.

Ha! My suspension is voided off my camaro along with a few other parts. I'm happy I didn't screw around with the heating core. I wasn't about to pay for a days worth of labor to tear out the dash in my camaro. I should be thankful after owning my camaro for 16 months the heater core is the first part that decided to break on me. I'm getting my money's worth out my warranty.
