I'm hoping both that antannae and those side mirrors are just there for testing... I don't mind a small fin antennae at all, just rather have a tad bit smaller.

Get over the antennae, almost every new car on the market today has the exact same setup.

Onto other things: I just noticed that the nose is more slanted on the production car than the concept. Looks good.

We had an article in a UK Sunday newpaper this weekend. Good article regarding an active fuel management system which will give even the V8 around 30mpg!

Do we think it will have 2+2 seating? Thats a big point for me and whether or not i can buy one as i have a 4.5 year old now (he'll be almost 6 when it comes out!)

The Camaro was always a four-seater - my friend's 3rd gen certainly is (is that a 2+2?).

I'm sure there are ways around it! :p

The concept ones were super cool looking and sleek but that's one of those things you see and right away know that it's not practical enough to make the production version. I think the mirror we see here still looks pretty good while being functional... GM really done a great job sticking to the concept's look overall. But I'm most curious about the rear look. That's the part of the new Camaro that I loved the most on the concept!

I'd rather have a quality mirror than the stupid slits on the concept. Poor visibility is one of my biggest annoyances with most modern cars.

I'm not sure if you're saying August because that's when you plan to get one or if you're confused on the actual release date of the car.

Even though it's technically a 2010 model, the coupe is being released very early (Jan-Mar 2009). Normally a 2010 model would be released around August or September of 2009 (the start of Fiscal Year 2010), but Chevy's doing it a bit different with the Camaro.

If you already knew all this are just waiting until August by your own choice, please ignore all of the above.

Just got back from a long business trip. Just saw the "leaked Photo" and read most of the comments. This could be a deliberate leak to get our reactions. A so to speak "how are we doing so far" response. The mirrors are almost exactly what I thought they would be. The concept one's would not meet DOT specs. I am a little disappointed in the sides. The lower door sill does not have as much predominent indent as the concept. The lower door sill on the concept gives the sides a more Coke Bottle shape that was predominent on the muscle cars of the '60's (ie Challenger/barracuda). I sure hope they change it. Fbodfather your input?
