The SRA has some drawbacks, but Ford has made it work surprisingly well and they have proven over and over that it can handle well. With the best possible IRS setup vs the best possible SRA setup, yes the IRS will absolutely handle better, but with IRS you will add cost and usually weight that can be useful elsewhere. The SRA isn't really holding the mustang back and the 5.0, gt500, and boss all will lay the smackdown on an 03 cobra on track despite the cobra running an IRS.
Still say that the average driver puts a live axle into the weeds more than they would THE SAME CAR if it had IRS.

Corvettes have a leaf spring.

Clearly, they must handle like trucks.

Seriously? Not that I'm disagreeing with you at all, but seriously? Comparing engine design to suspension design? You couldn't come up with a better analogy? Gee, let's compare apples and oranges.

Yes, I'm glad you have finally seen the light that the IRS gospel has provided for you.

For it is a well known fact that the Corvette and BOSS 302 handle like trucks and are utterly inferior to the Camaro in every single way on a track.

but why, you have this ingenious car for chevy and they use old technology. wtf, just why, it would be so much better and easier if they had coil overs in the back.
