Wanna-Play, what kind of hitch is that and what wiring arrangement do you have for the trailer?

There was an article at one time of somebody buying a hitch and modifying it to a 2" size with reinforcements off the rear bumper. Probably Google would be your friend here.

As for the animal carrier mounted on a hitch. Consider the weight. Your car does not have much towing or carrying capacity. Even less carrying capacity outside the axles.

It can be done. Just pay close attention to how much weight you are dealing with.

Like this dog carrier
I have the Hidden Hitch in this link mounted to my SS. I use it to carry my bikes. SUPER easy to install, took all of 20 minutes. NO holes to drill, could take it off in 10 if I had to.

as far as the dog goes in a trailer? I could give a rats n$ts, it's your dog. People a flipping crazy with wanting to 'protect' animals.

Wait wait wait.... You claim to be a dog trainer and you wanna put your own personal German Shepard in a crate/trailer behind the Camaro? Do I understand this correctly?

Just tie a leash to the door handle..

The exercise will do the dog good.

yeap you got it! ..im a dog trainer..and also love my camaro to death and thinking long term affects..AND IM also telling you that all kinds of animal trainers put their animals in trailers so cut the judgement. lol..think of it as puttin a horse in a trailer..or a dog in a cargo area of a plane? haha

..i put my dog in my car now..but on a more consistent basis is somethin id like to avoid..the smell and if he happens to accidentally scratch somethin in there is just too difficult to deal with..BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT im looking into certain supplies and vaccums and etcccc to allow me to have him in it without damage..so hopefully i can find a lot to keep it clean.
